Nirei telling Fuurin's story was adorbs animated. And he got so much praise, babyyyy.
Sakura hearing that the Fuurin he came to Makochi to find was what Yamato wanted and Umemiya stopped. I wonder what would have happened if Sakura met Yamato first? I mean, Sakura would still be Sakura, he wouldn't suddenly become a 'bad guy', I feel like he'd get hurt bad or be used if Yamato pulled out all the stops.

I'm guessing En and Atsushi became friends sometime after Kinshirou scarpered. Speaking of, he seemed happy En and Atsushi were fighting. :I
Episode 9: I wonder how Zundar and Wombat would interact...and why does Zundar get a name but Wombat is named after the creature he looks like?

WTF that reporter duo was in the bath water listening in the whole time.
Isn't the Student Council pretty dumb for not even considering that the club called 'Earth Defense Club' could be the group stopping their nefarious deeds? "But they're lowlifes, no way they're the people who keep stopping us!" but like, just look at their personalities/actions, even if you can't see their faces clearly it's still pretty obvious. At least investigate them like the reporters are doing!

14 October 2025 08:32ajoraSo everything's bad and I'm currently temporarily out of work due to the government shutdown. So, later today I'll be putting out applications to jobs that I hope will be okay with me high-tailing it back to my real career once it's over. Speaker of the House keeps saying that it's going to be the longest shutdown ever and I need money for the mortgage. Frankly, I'm not sure what I'd be qualified for. I've been a glorified park ranger for nearly 20 years, all I know is weird administrative stuff for systems decades out of date also, how to beg Congress for money just right. This one budgeting software still comes on floppy disks and requires DOS knowhow to use.
I might consider opening commissions, but I've been out of practice for ages and we've got AI now to generate shitty art.
As an aside, SE put out info on the new Dissidia on mobile with clear indicators of microtransactions mentioned in the closed beta application. So, another attempt at a gacha. Not sure how much interest it'll garner, as coffee shop AUs written by tweens on ff.net/Wattpad rarely go over well and the new Dissidia has big coffee shop AU energy all over it. Art is mediocre and everything about it looks dull, which is disappointing because it's nice to see Krile get some attention for once.
Oh well.

π BL Asian Drama Check-in: "Unknown" ep. 1-3

Episode 1: Wei Qian lives with his younger sister and becomes part of a gang doing small things to make money. When he takes in Wei Zhi Yuan he starts doing more serious stuff until it becomes too much and he leaves, except Wei Zhi Yuan gets kidnapped and Wei Qian has to win three boxing matches to get him back, which he manages.
Wei Qian's friend and honorary family member San Pang attempts to set Wei Qian up with a girlfriend because 'it would be good for their household' but it just makes Wei Qian remember the deep trauma he has about his mother. :(
Episode 3: Wei Zhi Yuan offers his help to Wei Qian's company to make their app.
Lili, the sister, asks Wei Zhi Yuan what his dream is but all he can thinking about is past scenes with Wei Qian (so I think the answer is 'continuing to be with Wei Qian').
Wei Qian gets upset at Lili wearing something too mature for her age (how old is she?) and accuses her of trying to be like her mother, which really upsets her and she falls on the stars. A man stops to help her (was he a guy from Le gang?)
More awful flashbacks with Wei Qian's mom.
Are we supposed to know who that doctor is??
Episode 4: The BL book Wei Zhi Yuan was reading was apparently just a prop, I tried looking it up. π€
Wei Qian attempts to teach Wei Zhi Yuan boxing but the latter keeps getting distracted lol Awkward moment there.
I can understand why Wei Zhi Yuan doesn't want to do it, he watched Wei Qian get beaten to an itch of his life and now he wants Wei Zhi Yuan to fight him in the ring? But the former just wants to teach Wei Zhi Yuan to protect himself after he sends him away to America or wherever.
OMG Wei Qian and Lili scrambling to put the BL goods down and leave Wei Zhi Yuan's room before he came in.
I wasn't expecting the kiss development, I'm guessing it will be played off since the opening scene of ep. 1 hasn't happened yet.
